Sensoji Temple- Asakusa, Tokyo

Back in February we needed to burn time before riding the futurist water bus to Odiaba so we took a quite visit to the Sensoji Temple. Sensoji Temple is Tokyo's oldest temple, founded in 645 C.E.

Buddha's sandals- very popular addition to temples, as seen in Kamakura also.

I believe this has been the one and only Temple we have visited this year, we refer to it as 'shrined-out.' It's fascinating observing other religions and practices in different locations while here but with all do respect, they start to all look the same to us.

One thing is for sure, they are never anything short of breathtaking.

  1. You're so cute. Love your outfit!! :)

  2. Hey! A good number of your links aren't working for Instagram and Bloglovin. Just wanted to let you know. I found at least 6 links that didn't work.

  3. Hey thanks for the heads up but could you be more specific. I just clicked through the links I could off this post/page and they worked for me. Would love to pinpoint it! Are they the links for Root&Blossom or for other bloggers in the Giveaway? I'm not one of the head hosts for the Giveaway so I'd love to pass the info onto the creators!

  4. Thanks! That means a lot since I was feeling just awful that day.

  5. I was going to say the same things as Andrea, you look great!

It must be so amazing to see and experience such a different culture over there, so beautiful!

I love reading your comments so please don't be shy! I'll usually even invite myself over after you've dropped a note to see what you're up to!
