Priceless Gifts of Blogging

Back in October I wrote a blog post tutorial about how to fix a photo uploading issue in blogger. It was an issue that was driving me absolutely bonkers yet I couldn't find any information online about it so after much time poking around I finally figured out the crazy simple solution and then shared my findings.

Even though I published the blog over six months ago I still continue to get new traffic and comments on it thanking me for fixing the aggravating problem. As a blogger it's great getting feedback for post and what's even better is when you discover talented people through those comments!

One of those particular people is Catalina. Catalina is a freelance painter (who by the way has a Bachelors degree in architecture) from Spain living in Berlin. If this doesn't make her sound awesome enough she also sings in different choirs and plays piano in small camera groups.

Catalina was frustrated with the blogger issue for almost a year so when she came across my blog post that solved her long-time issue she very generously offered to mail me a print of one of her breathtakingly lovely paintings. I didn't hesitate a second on taking her up on the offer for three very wonderful reasons: she's super talented, I absolutely adore snail mail, and I love mail even more when it comes from places I've never been!

Talk about the highlight of my week getting this lovely gem in the mail!

I highly recommend and encourage you to visit Catalina's,

Catalina is just one of many bloggers I have come to appreciate and admire through comments left on my blog. If you're a blogger never forget to leave a blog hyperlink in comments you write- great way to build that community and be discovered! If you aren't sure how to do that, I wrote a blog about that too!

I love reading your comments so please don't be shy! I'll usually even invite myself over after you've dropped a note to see what you're up to!
