About a month or two before we left Japan Gabriel started showing signs that he could in fact crawl but since it was more efficient to just slide across our wood floors he didn't really put much effort into it. Chris and I agreed that as soon as we got home he'd probably be crawling due to the carpeting. Sure enough after only being home for a week he started crawling!
We recognize that teaching him to stick out his tongue may not be the best trick but it's just so darn cute right now!
So exciting! Soon he'll be running around or climbing on things :)

Yea we have a different sort of staircase/railing system so we haven't figured out the baby gates yet but SO needed! He scared me half to death the other day when I thought he was right behind me but instead he was at the top of the stairs trying to get the cat!

Yay! Love those milestones. Stella was a butt scooter for about 3 months, which I read is now considered a "form of crawling." Then she actually crawled for about 3 days and then when straight to walking! Such a cute video...I vote to continue asking him where his tongue is...too cute!! :)
