Spinach Turkey Burgers

Remember me talking about how I'm trying to incorporate more turkey (replacing ground beef) and spinach into our diet? Here is another winner! Christopher's only complain was that before each bit he was expecting to taste an actual hamburger... apparently I'm confusing his taste buds. Hubs like them but I thought they were completely fantastic! Goodbye normal red-meat hamburgers (shhh don't tell on me)!

1lb ground turkey
1 red onion finely chopped
1/2 cup minced spinach
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley 
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
sliced Swiss cheese 

Crumble ground beef and mix in all ingredients besides the cheeses. Form into 4 patties or more depending on preference. In a frying pan lightly coated in coating spray sprinkle some Parmesan cheese where patty will lay and then sprinkle some more Parmesan cheese on top of patty when in the frying pan. Cook each side on medium heat for 7-10 minutes or until center of burger reaches 160'f. Melt cheese on top and serve on a toasted bun with BBQ sauce or ketchup and enjoy!
