Out with the Old, In with the Blog Lovin

Have you heard of it? I hadn't until just the other day! Let's rewind a tad further, did you hear that Google Reader is ending in July?! That's probably a silly question because if you know what Google Reader is of course you know and if you don't know what Google Reader is of course you don't. Unfortunately that is what is causing the death of Google Reader... Those who know of it love it but many people don't have a clue, their bad not yours. Basically a reader allows you to subscribe to blogs, news, websites. By doing this you don't have to keep visiting sites to see if there is new material, instead you log into your reader and all updates from all place you are subscribed to are available in one place! It's a pretty fabulous idea that didn't ever really take off for Google, apparently.

I currently follow/subscribe to roughly 80 some odd blogs (is that a lot?), without a reader I couldn't possibly keep track of all that awesomeness in my head nor would I want to clutter my bookmark bar with all of that, a reader is a must! Kelly over at Eat Yourself Skinny is another blogger who identified this as an issue but fortunately shared an alternative, Bloglovin.com! I've only been using it a couple days but so far I'm liking it. It has some similarities to Google Reader but is actually a lot more aesthetically appealing and super easy! The awesome part is that when I signed in it asked me if I wanted to import my blogs from Google Reader! If there are blogs that you check up on regularly I encourage you to try out Blog Lovin. It will help you be more efficient with your time online having all your favorite blogs in one spot! And don't forget to follow me by clinking {here}!

 Follow my blog with Bloglovin!
