Glue Gun Detailed Vase~ An Afternoon Craft

As I have mention a few times, I love trees and wood grain. If you want to know why I have such of fond likeness of trees just read my 'About Us' page that you can access from the toolbar, the title this blog also alludes to it... Though drawing wood grain was my most common doodle growing up I hardly entertain myself with it now, the last time being in October for Halloween (wish pumpkins didn't rot... bought a fake one to paint on for next year).

Kind of on the same theme as the wine bottle, hot glue, and twine, craft; this craft also consist of three supplies but substitute spray paint for twine.

I was inspired by a pin on Pinterest from the blog Pure and Nobel (she was inspired by a pin on Pinterest from the blog P.S. I Made This, I love the interconnection of bloggers and the Pinterest world!) where the blogger Brooke used a glue gun to write the word 'Love' onto a vase/jar and than spray painted it! Take the basic concept, add my love of grain and there she be.

Step one: use a glue gun to draw your design on a glass jar/vase/glass etc.

Step two: take your jar outside to spray paint once glue has dried completely (couple minutes)

Step three: (mainly for pregnant people...) put on your husband's ridiculous painter's mask to ventilate the air you inhale...

Step four: evenly spray paint your vase, making sure to let it dry completely before handling
