Button Blossom Tree

A month ago I decided to finally use the Mod Podge I bought a couple months before that. I had a canvas and a book written in Japanese that I got while in Japan (on the free shelf at the library) with no specific direction other than Mod Podge.

Last night I decided that I was going to turn the canvas into something more, and that more included buttons. Back in April I wanted a button project but could not settle on one, until yesterday.

One painted blossom tree and a number of buttons later we have a new piece of art for our home!

The buttons are simply glued on with hot glue! Not only was it a fun project that fit into my month goal but I'm excited to finish a project I've walked away from. :)

As I said, this was my first Mod Podge project and boy do I love it already! My friend Amanda used Mod Podge for the first time recently too to decorate a journal, check it out!
